The online Effective Writing course is based on the POWER method of writing that ContentETC use in their popular in-company courses. This gives writers the tools to help them craft documents that will effectively deliver their message, whether in an email, letter, report, proposal or website. The course is highly practical and highlights common mistakes, with lots of useful tips that learners can put into practice immediately. The course consists of four easy-to-follow parts:

Part 1: Think before you write
Part 2: Making sense of sentences
Part 3: Working with words
Part 4: How it looks, and proofing

Each section is full of interactive exercises that lets learners practise what they’ve been taught – and get the results immediately.
Effective writing is priced at £99 + VAT per user; and with the individual trainer feedback it is £150 + VAT per user. Effective writing is also available as a tailored in-company session.
